Mini-block Roadrunner

A slightly different project - made with mini legos. This speedy little roadrunner was inspired by a recent trip to the beautiful deserts of Texas. Pretty different from my usual paper animation style, but experimenting with new mediums is always a great challenge🤠

Unlike paper animation, animating legos required rigging that could bear the weight of the character, and followed by a lot of compositing to remove the rig! See project gallery below for some close-ups of the process 🌵☀️
